SkilledHub.com & Mobile Applications Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and SkilledHub.com (“we,” “us,” or “our”) regarding your use of:

The SkilledHub.com Website and related domains (the “Website”);
The ToolSnap mobile application; and
The RoofQuote mobile application.
(Collectively referred to as the “Services”).

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Services.

1. USE LIMITATIONS AND ELIGIBILITY

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent’s or guardian’s permission.

Personal vs. Commercial Use

Website & ToolSnap: These Services are primarily for your personal and non-commercial use.
RoofQuote: This Application is intended for business and professional use by roofing contractors and businesses. By using RoofQuote, you represent that you are a licensed contractor or authorized to conduct roofing business.

Except for the professional use explicitly permitted within the RoofQuote application, you agree not to modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell or re-sell any information, software, or services obtained from the Services.

You agree not to:

Access, monitor, or copy any content using any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means without express written permission.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Mobile Apps.
Take any action that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.

2. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND SECURITY

To access certain features of ToolSnap or RoofQuote, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
Maintain the security of your account credentials.
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

3. APP-SPECIFIC TERMS AND DISCLAIMERS

A. ToolSnap (AI Tool Identification)

AI Accuracy: The ToolSnap service uses artificial intelligence to identify tools. Identification results are provided “as is.” We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any identification. You should verify results before making purchasing decisions.
Affiliate Disclosure: ToolSnap and SkilledHub.com are participants in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases made through links in the App.

B. RoofQuote (Satellite Measurements)

Measurement Disclaimer: Satellite measurements provided by RoofQuote are estimates only based on third-party imagery. They are not substitutes for on-site verification.
Professional Responsibility: You are solely responsible for verifying all measurements, conducting on-site inspections, complying with local building codes, and providing accurate final quotes to your customers. We are not liable for losses due to material shortages or overages based on these estimates.

4. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENTS

Certain features within ToolSnap and RoofQuote may require a subscription.

Billing: Subscriptions are charged via your Apple ID (iOS) or Google Play (Android) account.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancellation: You may cancel anytime via your App Store settings. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
Payment Processing: Payments are processed by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat. We do not store your full credit card details.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Our Rights: SkilledHub.com, ToolSnap, RoofQuote, and the SkilledHub Logo are trademarks of SkilledHub.com.
Your Content: You retain ownership of data you input (e.g., Inventory in ToolSnap, Customer Quotes in RoofQuote). By using the Services, you grant us a license to store, process, and backup this content to provide the Service.

6. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

THE INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, AND SERVICES INCLUDED IN OR AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SERVICES MAY INCLUDE INACCURACIES OR TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.
SKILLEDHUB.COM DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT SATELLITE MEASUREMENTS (ROOFQUOTE) OR AI IDENTIFICATIONS (TOOLSNAP) ARE 100% ACCURATE.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
IN NO EVENT SHALL SKILLEDHUB.COM BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE SERVICES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

7. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend and indemnify SkilledHub.com, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, losses, damages, fines, penalties, or costs (including legal fees) arising from:

Your use of the Services;
Your violation of these Terms;
Your violation of any law or rights of a third party; or
(For RoofQuote Users) Any disputes with your customers regarding quotes or measurements generated by the App.

8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party APIs (including Google Maps, Supabase, RevenueCat, and Amazon). SkilledHub.com is not responsible for the content or practices of these third parties.

9. GENERAL PROVISIONS

Governing Law: This agreement is governed by the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Severability: If any part of this agreement is determined to be invalid, the remainder shall continue in effect.
Modifications: SkilledHub.com reserves the right to change these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
